PALMYRA – Marilyn R. Ruthven died June 17, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, George “Alfie” Ruthven and sister Patricia Staud Ostrander. She is survived by her children, Scott R. (Sandra) Ruthven of Palmyra and  John Christopher Joseph “Joe” Ruthven of Phelps; grandchildren Gregory (Angela) Ruthven of Palmyra, Amy Ruthven (William Reynolds) of Greece, Daniel (Beverly) Ruthven of Indiana, Erica (Jason) Milburn of Dansville, Nicole Ruthven of Phelps; nine great grandchildren; companion Frances Rush and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were invited to call June 22 at McGuire/Hargrave and Murphy Funeral Home, 123 E. Jackson St, Palmyra. Her committal service will be held at 2 p.m. June 26 at Resthaven Cemetery, Phelps.  Donations may be made to St. Anne’s Latchkey Program in her memory.
