George W. Reithel
SODUS - George W. Reithel died suddenly on Jan. 25, 2010 at age 77. George is survived by his wife, Hien “Kim” Reithel; children, Penny (Joe) Dodge, Susan (Will) O’Brien, Anne Marie (Larry) Keese, Christopher (Dawn) Reithel and Mary Beth (David) Gardner; step children, Cathy (Anthony) Fiordeliso, Wanda (Todd) Barnhart and Ann Marie Victorious; sister, Shirley Keymel; brothers, Raymond (Marilyn) Reithel and Donald (Sibylle) Reithel; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and seven step-grandchildren. George was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jo Sprong Reithel and by his parents, Raymond and Frances Reithel.
Family and friends were invited to call on Jan. 28, at Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main St., Sodus. A Mass of Christian burial was held Jan. 29 from the Church of the Epiphany in Sodus. Interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be directed to either S.T.A.C. or to the Church of the Epiphany.
