Indoor Soccer Tournament

RED CREEK - The RC Rage Soccer Association is preparing to hold its sixth annual indoor soccer tournament. This two-day tournament held at the Red Creek Central School campus on March 20 and 21 plays host to more than 60 youth soccer teams from all across western and central New York.
The proceeds from this tournament directly supports the youth soccer players in our rural community, providing scholarship funds to cover the cost of registration and to provide other tournament opportunities, as well as updated equipment and uniforms. A portion of the proceeds from this tournament goes directly into each player’s “club bank account” and can then be used to help families defray the cost of playing competitive youth soccer.
A unique feature of the club is that they expect kids to participate not only in club activities, but in community service work projects as well.
“It is the club’s way of teaching youth the importance of giving something back to their community,” said the club’s secretary, Joy Caster.
